Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. We provide life-changing treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues. The complex mental health issues we treat are when someone has several severe mental health conditions arising from military service which often hugely impact on their lives. We help the small but significant minority who develop mental health problems related to military trauma. Our aim is to treat veterans’ symptoms and improve their quality of life. Veterans with complex mental health conditions need a specialist team made up of different mental health professionals to help them and we provide this. Our clinicians work closely with each other to make a treatment plan for each veteran that is unique to them.

Our specialist treatment and support is available online and in-person.  Where required, our online provision is complemented by in-person outpatient appointments and community services including peer support, and treatment on a residential basis.
