As today, nurses  have played crucial front line roles in pandemics throughout history. What Covid 19 has brought into sharp view is  the ever evolving, ever expanding role of nursing. I will be exploring the perception of nursing as heroes, the courage of compassion and the core work needs of nurses now and the future.

In this presentation I will be describing the challenges that teams face within a multicultural team. I will also be describing how the lack of training and development leads to poor patient outcomes. I will further discuss the responsibility that each individual has in taking ownership of their own careers as well as the importance of meaningful appraisals.
